Track Your Hours helps pre-licensed clinicians navigate their licensure journey through automated solutions, building brand trust and increasing customer lifetime value. Our platform streamlines the path to becoming licensed.
Through a comprehensive product redesign, we're enabling over 20,000 pre-licensed clinicians to obtain their licenses and provide care across New York, California, and Texas.

Business challenge
Context
88-90% of professionals intend to start their own private practice, but first must complete 1-5 years of requirements to get licensed. Pre-licensed clinicians struggle with the complex licensure process, spending excessive time understanding requirements, tracking progress, and handling administrative tasks—all of which take them away from gaining real experience and delivering care.
Through our Track Your Hours redesign, we have significantly reduced the time needed for hours logging, administrative tasks, and the overall licensure journey. We've automated key processes to improve task management quality while reducing total time investment.
Pain points:
57% of candidates never attain licensure (Motivo health) because of the following pain points:

Strategic approach
Our research revealed that some of the biggest hurdles are outdated board websites as the only source of truth to navigate licensure requirements, a lack of good supervision leaving candidates having to work twice as hard to often not meeting their requirements because of lack of knowledge, as well as outdated methods of tracking their hours.
Our goals with Track Your Hours were to automate as much of the process as we can for candidates, work with board websites to deliver updates and simple navigation through requirements, decrease overall completion time and overall, be an unofficial supervisor to help candidates obtain licensure quicker.
Our process focused on the following:
1. Scalability - the ability to move quickly and cater to more states/more clinicians
2. Delivering fast but intentional solutions

With little to no design focus in the original product, the results was clearly related to lack of discoverability, information hierarchy and ease of use.
Re-design
With the re-design, our focus was to make the product responsive, with clear improvements around UI, UX and IA. All which were directly correlated to an increase in acquisition, retention, trust and overall exceeding of satisfaction
