Hi, I’m Pekhna but I usually go by Pek. I’m passionate about addressing complex, often ambiguous problems and transforming systems of thought through innovative solutions.
Being an Indian product designer born in LA, raised in Mexico City, and educated in Vancouver and Germany, I bring a global perspective to my work, with expertise in growth, AI-centered design, and leading 0-to-1 product and feature development.
Outside of work I have recently acquired a Yoga certification in beginner and intermediate level Vinyasa yoga. In my free time, I am always looking for a new recipe to try, impromptu trips to take, and strongly believe everything is better with a quirky doodle
It's actually Pekhna but I usually go by Pek. I’m an LA based product designer currently working at SimplePractice where I get to help clinicians simplify their admin work and clinical care.
Being an LA-born, Indian-native, Mexico City-bred, and Vancouver-educated designer has not only opened up doors to an array of different experiences, but it has also influenced my designs by making sure I always keep accessibility and inclusion at the forefront.
